Thank you! We have at least one reader of the 9-3 board (besides me) who prefers the 9-3 to the 9-5! I was beginning to wonder.
I drove a 9-5 loaner while my 2000 base 9-3 was in the shop. I definitely liked the 9-5, but I felt too much like a banker driving it--not that there's anything wrong with that... The 9-3 is more fun! My 11 year old godson calls it a "cool" car--and he is not easy to impress! I think that sums it up best--this is a "cool" car. I don't think you could really say that about the 9-5; the 9-3 is much more unique and off-beat. Tonight going into the drug store a stranger stopped me to say what a beautiful car it is--for how many 8-year-old car designs would that happen!? And I think that this car has a look that will hold-up long term.
My 2 Cents FWIW...
