Installing a manual boost controller questions > Posted by Keith [Email] (#1462) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Keith) on Mon, 19 Mar 2001 13:34:54 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
What's the best way to install a manual boost controller on a 9-3? I'm thinking about using the Redline Boost Controller (link below). There are three hoses going to the boost solenoid. One to the turbo, one to the waste gate actuator and one to the intake. To increase boost I know you want to place the controller between the turbo and waste gate actuator but what about the third line to the intake? Do you want to go around the solenoid completely or just tap into it? I'm only looking to increase boost about 4psi. I did search the archives and didn't find any specific info. Any help would be appreciated.
BTW, I did remove the silencer in the intercooler pipe (easy) and will get a K&N filter soon.
