9-3 Oil Change Summary

I changed the oil on my 01' 9-3 this weekend by myself with Mobil1 10-30.
I wanted to change the oil before my 150 mile trip and did not have time to take it to the dealer. here's the steps I took:
1) Placed an oil pan under the drain plug to catch the old oil. Then I unscrewed drain plug while the engine was warm. I used a 13mm socket wrench. The drain plug was on surprising tight from the factory. I let the oil drain completely for about 15 minutes.
2) Unscrewed the oil filter using an oil filter wrench. The oil filter unscrewed easily. Took out the filter and let the oil drain from the filter opening for about 5 min.
3) put oil on new filter gasket and put on the new oil fileter. I tightened about 3/4 turns after gasket contact.
4) put in new washer on drain plug and tightened the drain plug.
5) filled with 4 litres of new oil using a funnel.
6) Had a tough time verifing the oil level with the dip stick. So I'll trust the owner's manual which says 4 Liter with filter.
total time: 1 hour
overall, it was straightforward and easy.
This was the car's first oil change at 2100 km (1300 miles) but the oil still looked clean and did not really see any metal particles from the break-in. I did not use an ramp, though that would have helped get underneath the car.
