I put a very small tear (about 1/8" x 1/8" or 3-mm x 3-mm) on the back side of my leather driver's seat. It's a very clean rip but I know I can't put the material back in place. Other post have said that only the seating surfaces are leather and that the backs of the seats are vinyl.
Any ideas on how to fix this tear? A small vinyl or leather patch, perhaps? If so, what adhesive is recommended? Is there any excess material under the seat bottom I could trim to make a small patch -- maybe 1/2" or 13-mm in diameter.
I'll also check with my Saab dealer but I'm looking for other "real world" experience with this type of repair. Thanks to all.
