Beware of flat spots from overnight. Longer times I could understand.
Out of round tires act like flat spots, but as the tire warms up, it's sidewalls can become more supple and the problem seems to go away. That is how a new tire that is out of round will feel. But as the tire ages the out of round will become a major problem as the tire rubber compounds naturally become stiffer. By the time you figure that out, you will not get any relief from the supplier or manufacturer. It is easy to get trapped.
