When I bought my wifes car about a month later I referred a friend to the same Saab dealer. When I called my friend to see how his experiance was he told me that my saleman was not at the dealer. It turns out that he had to go to Georgia for more training. A couple of months later I ran into my salesman and asked about this. His response was that all Saab saleman have to attend a week long class yearly on new models and features. He went on to say that when he also use to sell Range Rovers that he would attend a class for two weeks which included off road driving.
As far as your experiance it upsetting to hear that some Saab dealers are not using qualified sales rep. I wish you could have the same experiance that I had. My saleman not only knew Saabs but BMW's, Mercedes, VW and Audi and he could also explain the advantages and disadvantages of each models. Sorry for your bad experiance but I would try another dealer if possible.
