But the limited warranty is for 4 yr/50k miles. That means after 50K miles they don't have to fix the engine, turbo, or anything else that might be affected by long oil change intervals. YOu use 10K oil change intervals with semi-synthetics and I'll use full synthetics for 3-4k changes. Then we'll see who's turbo goes bad first! Even if the oil itself isn't broken down it gets contaminated with slight piston blowby. Guess where all that extra stuff gets cooked? In the hottest part of the loop, the turbo.
