Our '00 9-3 has been at the dealer for 3 days (while I'm paying for a rental) while they've attempted to diagnose an intermitent miss problem. Said they couldn't get it to do anything until late yesterday, no codes stored, they were going to drive it with some monitoring equipment installed, but couldn't get it to do it again. The car has an intermitent miss at steady speeds, and it does it ALL THE TIME, at least once every 10 minutes or so, when we're driving it, and has been for a month. Anyway, they decide it could probably use a fuel filter, which I agreed to. Just called to give them the Visa number so we could pick it up late - guess what - they didn't even get that done!

So, we're picking it up anyway. I guess I'll just drive it until it totally quits and get it towed in. $150 in rental and $50 diagnosis down the drain.
This is really damaging my loyalty to the brand (5th new Saab since 1984, plus 4 used ones).

The dealer is Mid America Motors in St. Louis. Does anyone have any experience with West County Saab? Might try them next time.
