Broken Inside Door Handle

Bought a used 9-3 with 60,000 recently and really love it. However (there always is a however with Saabs), the inside door handle on back right will not open (opens fine from the outside). I bought an extended warranty for the major stuff but it does not cover this. Any idea on how much this should cost to fix? Can I do it myself (not terribly mechanical)? Can any shop do it or do you recommend a Saab dealer (pricey)? Thanks for any suggestions you experienced 93 owners may offer.
