I had a '91 silver 4 door with a 5 speed way back when. The car was unstoppable...I used to drive it in over a foot of snow with no issues at all. Fantastic car....except for the dashboard squeaks and the Hyundai quality door trim panels.
That was, until a drunk guy in an 18 wheeler ran me off the road, and I had to ditch the car so as not to be hit head on...rolled on its side, and should have been totalled.
The car saved my life...but even after the insurance company decided to rebuild it, it wasn't the same. Everything started to fail at 55K, so I got rid of it...
Cheers,
Paul H.
