When I purchased my CPO 9-5 wagon, I initially had concerns that the wood dash looked hazy. I raised this issue with the certifying dealer prior to certification. When I picked the car up, the dash looked considerably better (and frankly didn't need replacement). Meanwhile, the dealer gave me what I thought was a very good deal on the car and politely asked me that if I were to bring the car in to have the dash replaced to please do this after a 90 day waiting period so they wouldn't get tagged for the repair.

Understandably, he was hesitiant to share this information and I definitely wouldn't out him here. Ironically, in the two months that I've owned the car I have had other repair issues pop up that I'm sure he's had to eat.
