So sorry to hear about your DI cassette. I got into a BB argument with a poster the other day about the DI issue. It seems that many saabers carry and extra DI in their trunk knowing that the DI cassette is going to go out at some point (sometimes very early in the cars life). I find this absolutely ridiculout that we should even have to consider this option.

While it's definitely Saab's responsibility to address the issue, saab drivers need to quit just accepting it and lean on saab to correct it. The earlier poster gives good advice to report the issue. It's too bad that we pay a premium for a car that we like and have to rely on pure luck as to whether we'll get quality coming off the production line.

I hope someone from GM/Saab is reading the posts.
