6.5 hours is fair as they have to R&R the front struts, rear springs and rear shocks to install the kit. They''re saving a "little' time by doing the brakes at the same time, as the car will already be in the air, wheels off, etc.
I had the strut and rear springs swapped on my 9-3 this summer and that was 5.5 hours at my independent mechanic in SF. I don't think it'd worth the time to shop around, even though it's an easy job. I always give my work to my mechanic, becuase the continued patronage pays off in the long run.
IMO, most dealers and quickie shops could care less if you ever come back and it shows in the quality of work you get.
