sad night for a saab owner

I've had my 1999 Saab 9-3 for about 2 years now. Last night, it was raining and I was driving home on a windy road. I came around a corner and started to slide...tried to correct it, but it only ot worse from there. I went trough some trees and came to a rest. I looked around, the passenger side was caved in, glass everywhere, and the dome light was hanging by a wire. Luckily I was not hurt, but the car is destroyed.
I have mixed emotions about this accident. I've always experience bad handling with this car in wet or snowy conditions. Saabs are definetly not snow animals. I remember the car would always slide and the anti-lock brakes would always give me trouble in the snowy North East. Now some may say that its my driving, but I disagree. I had my old car(nissan) for 3 years, never had any problems, even in the snow. I've never gotten any kind of traffic violation. I am a very safe driver...I feel the saab in an unsafe car. Everyone says I'm lucky because I was in a saab and it kept me safe...i don't consider that safe....i consider a car safe when it doesn't loose control going around a turn on a wet road at 35 mph...Thats a safe car....
Other than that, My next car is most likely to be a Saab, just because I love the way they look, I'll just have to drive even slower
