The lurching may be a momentary overboost and fuel cut, caused by a dirty BPC valve which is no longer doing its job.
The BPC valve is how the ecu controls the turbo wastegate to prevent the boost. If it does not work, the wastegate will not open when it is supposed to, so you get "overboost". The ecu senses that, and cuts off the fuel to protect the engine. So the pressure drops, and the ecu restores the fuel - car lurches forward. It happens in less than a second, and you can get two or three in a row when you are accelerating.
My mechanic blew it out with some compressed air, and I was back on the road in 45 minutes... You can even do it yourself with a can of compressed air from an office supply. Search for "boost pressure control valve" or "BPC valve cleaning".
I asked about just replacing it, but once it starts happening, apparently you end up cleaning it again in 1-2 years, new part or not.
