I have done a few searches on the subject and found some great advice, but none have solved my problem so far. I have checked and topped off the fluid. Checked the motor gear as well. So far no joy. I have taken the covers off, bypass the trunk switch and taken the rear back seat panels off to expose the cyclinders and all.
What are the sequence of events that occurs to open the top? My best guess is that the back glass must be release first, but I do no see that retracting. When I am inside the car with the motor elevated I can see a set of hoses expand then retract when the "soft top failure" beep goes off. However, I am alone when trying to diagnose this problem.
I appreciate any feedback or suggestions thrown out there, I have already spent a couple grand with the dealer, but this keeps reoccuring and P!$$!ng me off!
Thanks
