I rarely read this board since i don't own a 900/9-3 anymore (I have a 9-5 now). 2 years ago I travelled from Montreal to Sherbrook city in the middle of a Canadian snow storm driving a 96 900 V6 automatic (I like the winter mode in the transmission)equiped with winter tyres (Gislaved). I was doing about 70 km/h i have over taken subaru`s isuzu and a lot of 4wd cars. Only one car overtook me it was a lady driving an Acura (she was doing like a 90 km/h not safe realy). Now Saabs are pretty safe, last winter for an unknown reason (can't remember the last few seconds either the car skidded or i lost concentration for a second or two) i hit an electrical pole. The car absorbed most of the energy and i fractured my femure (not a small injury) but i am sure the car helped save my life.
