1998 Saab 900 SET, 105,000 miles
I had a non accident damage on the vehicle recently. The driver side wheel pretty much broke off. The fix requires some of the following major items:
Lower Control Arm
Strut Housing
Strut Thrust
Outer Tie Rod End
Upper Support
Inner CV boot Kit
Aside from the above, the fix/replace the fender panel and a number of parts in the area.
The total cost is about 2k for the mechanical damage, and about 2k for the body/finish.
What are the recommendations? Go forward or get a new car? I want to do what makes most sense. What can I sell the damaged car for? Whats the best way to get rid of it?
