1. As far as front suspension goes, I'm going to order a full set of bushings and tie rod ends and strut mounts/bushings (maybe shocks too). Is there anything else I need to get to "recondition" the front end?
2. Getting some check valves for the washers, so how many do I need, and which ones?
3. Getting a new turbo bypass valve. Thinking about doing the head gasket DYI.
4. Getting a new manually adjustable clutch cable. Full set of pads, rotors and either rebuilding the calipers or buying new (depends on price).
5. Getting some paintwork done to repair minor rust and a few dings. Painting wheels as well.
6. Replacing some of the window trim that is rusting internally.
7. Replacing tires with Yoko Avid V4S - Bridgestone RE750s are annoyingly loud (sorry for any prior recommendations I may have made).
8. Pullys replaced recently.
9. Needs a/c work; not sure what yet.
10. Power steering has slow leak somewhere; not sure where yet.
Is there anything else I should look at replacing. Current mileage is about 177,000 KM or 109,000 Miles. I'm guessing in the range of
$2,000 to make the car relatively nice overall. Probably a little more.
This will of course mean that my 9-5 Aero purchase will be put off by a couple of years, or at least one.
In addition to the above I have generally been pretty diligent in replacing stuff as it goes wrong such as water pump, alternator, starter, and other items I can't remember right now (yes I should keep track of things).
