I've never had any issues in the past with used tires, even if they were well worn. Probably safe to say I've ever only bought brand new tires 2 times out of the 8+ cars I've owned over the last 10 years, and I've replaced tires on all of the cars (most were not new cars).

The "used" tires were used to drive home on the car they're from, probably had 60 miles at most on them. At the time I mounted the tires, they were balanced and runout checked on a Hunter machine, they were well within spec.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think the Kumho 712 is a better tire then the RE070, it just made the car drive alot more normal. Maybe it's my car? But then again, its not like a stock Viggen is known for it's percise steering and suspension components.
