For the stall, you changed the vacuum hose, but did you change the purge valve itself?
A crack in the vacuum hose will more likely cause a fault for a vacuum leak such as "tighten fuel filler cap," "small," or "large," vacuum leak code when the system does an ELCD system check. The stall, if caused by the ELCD system, would more likely be caused by the valve itself.
You can test it by disconnecting the vacuum hose between the valve and the throttle body, then put a golf tee or similar to plug the hose to the throttle body. If the stalling goes away, your purge valve has been slow or stuck. You can try cleaning it, but many people (including myself) find it only helps for a little while. During this experiment, you will likely get warnings on your sid to tighten the fuel filler cap or some such because when the system does the evap test, there won't be any vacuum measured in the tank since the throttle body isn't sucking the air out of the system during the test.
