Brake Light fix

as some of you may remember, I posted about trying to figure out a fix for the dead center brake light on my '00 'vert.
I had replaced the bulbs, then the light unit and finally checked the wires I could see. nothing.
had the car into my mechanic for a new exhaust and mentioned the problem. we poked around a bit and pulled back the left hand trim by the antenna in the trunk. found the wires unplugged. Plugged it back and voila! Brake light works. and so does the remote truck release. simple and easy. made my day!
his theory: the last owner replaced the antena, disconnecting the wires for better access and then forgot to reconnect.
