You really have thrash the car alot for the computer to figure out maximum boost and timing and such. So I would drive it again and once it is warmed up, really open it up a few times and see if that helps. It also may have a bad MAF, vacuum leak or even a leak between the turbo and throttle body. Also possible the gas is really old??
If you aren't wanting to spend some money to keep this car around, I'd pay the few hundred for an independent shop to do a full pre-purchase inspection and compression check.
Also keep in mind 1st and 2nd gear are held back by the computer. So 3rd gear is where you need to start at about 2,500RPM and just floor it until about 5,000RPM. Do that a couple times and if it doesn't put a grin on your face, then something is probably not right.
My Viggen has ~110k miles on it now and I've really only replaced the MAF and hooter valve since I bought it with 32k miles. It does need some things now, like motor mounts, bushings and struts, but they are just worn, not broken. I swear the engine pulls harder now than it ever did.
Good luck!
