Hi,
Thanks for sharing guys..I am coming off of a set of Potenza's RE 760 sports, and similiarly they were probably great for 20k..After that they seemed to wear really "weird"....Uneven, contact patch was not a straight line/flat, and lumpy o n the inside rears... I think i have a great alignment right now, even with some shims the rears hubs..With 225/45/17's, the sidewalls are super stiff, which i am starting to get sick of; rides too harsh. I ended up getting 30 k miles of them, but they have been worn for a while..MY guess is our expected mileage on such tires are about 20K+, which i dont care for so much)....I am going with the Conti DW's and hope the sidewalls are a bit softer than the Re760. I do not drive in any crappy weather at all. Im sure Michelins are a much better choice given you have the $$$...I too am fighting some vibrations i cannot get ride of..Im hoping the new Contis and a Hunter roadfoece balance cures the problem for a while!..I would think we have to rotate these tires very often, if we want to stand a chance for any longevity/mileage!
