That may be it then. I took a look at the original stanchion arms that were removed, and they still have sleeves in the bushings. I never purchased sleeves with the new stanchion arms.
The rebuilt suspension with the poly strut mounts feel nice and planted, except for the slight weirdness that I've been trying to track and which may be due to missing sleeves in the stanchion arm bushings. I got the poly mounts mainly in the hope of improved durability since the rubber ones are known to fail. I used OE Sachs shock inserts for the strut refresh because I want to keep a soft factory ride.
