Synthetic! Better protection and fewer oil changes. What color is your dyno oil when its drained? Are you burning oil?
Synthetic will not cause leaks but may reveal leaks you already have. The dyno oil is thicker at colder temps (when you're parked in your driveway) and so not prone to end up on your drvieway. A thinner performance synthetic like a 0w-40 may start dripping from leaks you already have as its a bit thinner at cold temps.
I recommend the mobil 1 high mileage 10w-40 synthetic. You're going to get a thicker oil that will protect your car better and likely not leak oil. Also, you can stretch the oil changes to 5k-7.5k miles. Comes out to be cheaper and less of a hassle in the end. Plus, for me I would much rather chase a couple of oil leaks (which is unlikely) than worry about sludge.
