I have been discussing this issue with a Saab tuner and he says he's run into this exact mysterious problem on occasion. It seems the propeller heads at Saab decided to splice many of the grounds together within the main wiring harness. This makes sense as several of my past codes were ground related. The cure? Cut your harness apart and look for any hand splices and correct. That's right, hand crimped splices, not soldered. Without proper grounds you can get an array of code issues, back feeding of circuits, etc., etc. What a nightmare!! I'm pleading with the DMV to simply insert the tube up the pipe and take a reading. This car has blown codes since it had 500 miles. Most are misfire readings. I know cars very well and have some racing experience as well. This car has never skipped a beat, not even once. A 4 cylinder that skips as much as my ecu says it does would not make it up my hill and a 4 cylinder skip is not something that you wouldn't notice. After 6 cassettes, I'd bet the house on that fact.
