Fuel Feed Check Valve - do I have to drop the tank? Posted by Tulsaab [Email] (#31) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Tulsaab) on Mon, 14 Sep 2015 08:20:12 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
It looks like my fuel feed check valve has gone out, as the car take several cranks to start when parked overnight on an incline. It looks like the hose (inc. the check valve) is ~$50 and easily available, so i was thinking of tackling this job on my own. However, can you get to this check valve from the awkwardly-placed access hole under the seat, or should I plan on dropping the tank? Don't really want to do the sheet-metal cutting job...
Thanks!
