The headlight elevation is adjusted with a 1/4" or 6mm hex on the end of a 6" extension. There is a hole on the sheetmetal over the outboard ends of the lamps. If you cannot locate the adjuster or engage the tool, pull a turn signal lamp to have a look. There are levels in the lamps, but I found that they were not useable to get a proper adjustment.
If the insides of the lamps appear murky, you can remove the lamps, and release the clips to clean the internals. The lamps are not dust proof.
