I have a '95 900se with the CD changer. The changer went from working often to working rarely, to never working. I have read about (on this forum) the head unit needing replacement when it stops working with the cd changer. The cd changer appears to be working (when the cd magazine is inserted it loads and scans each cd) and all other features of the head unit work fine (tape, radio, etc..). My question: what are my options for getting the cd changer working with the head unit? 1) replace with saab head unit (expensive, i'm sure) 2)Is there an aftermarket tape deck that will fit the car and recognize the existing cd changer?
