I installed the 9-3 sport exhaust on my '94 900S almost a year ago and couldn't be happier. Let me first say that it is far from obnoxiously loud. As a matter of fact if sounds very nice. It sounds nothing like a rice-burner! Generally at an idle and running around town like a normal human being it gives off a nice deep rumble. When you step on it though look out, you won't want to let off the accelerator! If only the turbo cars sounded this good with this exhaust.

Now let me tell you, I was a little concerned with it being too loud when I was considering purchasing it. My wife and daughter have to ride around in my Saab on the weekends. I have never had one complaint about interior cabin noise. My wife and I hate obnoxiously loud exhausts if that tells you anything. As a matter of fact she says it sounds great!

I have received one observation from a colleague during our last rode trip. Three of us were driving in my Saab to Seattle form Portland for a meeting. The individual that mostly sat in the back seat stated that with the radio off, and the cruise set at 85mph, the exhaust was much more noticeable in the back seat. Bear in mind the three of us had no trouble holding a conversation at a normal tone.

By the way, I know of only one person that wasn't happy with the Sport Exhaust after they installed it. You will also have NO problem passing inspection! Also be sure and install a K&N air filter with your exhaust if you want to get the maximum horsepower out of it.

Here is a question for everyone else, why is it the only individuals that post negative comments about a normally aspired car with the sport exhaust don't even own one. Unless you own this car with this exhaust and have to live with it everyday, you really have nothing to say. I don't mean to offend anyone but this is really annoying. I have a friend with a turbo charged car but I wouldn't dare post anything about it. Why would I, I don't have to drive his car every day! There have certainly been far more post from individuals that have this system and like it, compared to one individual that took it off. All I'm saying is, don't base your decision on comments made by individuals that don't even own the car and exhaust you're inquiring about.
