Some addl info that might be helpful. To avoid sqeal, put layer of blue silicone between piston and pad. Don't turn rotors. GM guidelines call for rotor turning only when grooves are as deep as Rosevelt's head on a dime. Can't fit the dime in the groove? Then it isn't big enough to worry about. Turning rotors can create a whole new set of problems such as pulsation and grabbing. After you fit new pads, pump pedal several times before driving car. The be prepared for little or no breaking power for first several miles. (Don't tailgate!!!) When you try to move pads away from the rotor, don't pry on the rotor. You can bend them so they wobble and must be replaced. I carefully insert a knife or thin screwdriver and keep putting in larger objects until I can remove the caliper from the rotor.
you'll need loctite for the bolts that hold the calipers to the car. It is really hard to break these bolts loose because they are put in with loctite. Make sure you have a strong socket head wrench or you'll round out your bolts. If you do this, you're in big trouble!!! Easiest way I've found to get out of this jam is to weld (that's right, weld!) a nut onto the end of the sockethead bolt and take it out with a wrench. Not fun!
