I recently updated my base 95 900s with 16" wheels and 205/50ZR16 Potenza RE730 tires.Previous upgrades include Abbott springs and KONI's.
When I picked up the car, I couldnt believe how much easier the wheels turned when stopped/parked, but mostly am distessed about the "sway" and lack of "riding on rails" handling that I enjoyed with the old 15-inch Cooper tires that came with the car. This doesnt make sense, does it?
Will check the suspension later this week to make sure the tire guys didnt screw anything up, but I dont understand how a tire with a good perfrmance reputation can screw up the handing I had with cheap tires( they were almost bald, too!).Any thoughts? TIA>
