Most likely, its the DI Cassette. Mine went out at 65k and 80k miles respectively. The 80k was probably a fluke.
I pulled to unit out , put it on its back and stuck the plugs in it. Then made sure the plugs were grounded by wire, turned the garage lights out and cranked it. Noticed only one of the plugs was firing. Spent $275 on a unit and went about my business. Oh yea, I changed the plugs with the NGK BCPR7ES-11 types and used the special plug grease in the plug holders.
You should always change the plugs once you have them out. They are about a $10 expense.
As far as my method of diagnosing the DI Cassette, see if any of the "masters" of this board would agree with it. Some have said that you can ruin a running DI cassette by turning it upside down or not grounding the plugs properly. Listen to others before you do it.
Just my experience. Good luck.
