In my previous posted email, I was interested in a problem with water on the passenger side in the floor mat. This has been determined to probably come from a leak in the hosing around the evaporator, an evaporator case. The issue I would like to resolve with this is the PROPER ACC BOOK or MANUAL that would reveal the whole process for getting in and out of the unit. I have the Factory Publication on the ACC and this gets you no where fast. The evaporator or evaporator box was not even mentioned let alone identified and located.I need a 3rd party publication that would give this information. Also, it would be nice to see the technical bulletin that discussed the DEFLECTOR PLATE that was noted in a response to posted message below.
:I experienced the same problem for close to two years. Eventually last summer the Dealer spoke with SAAB HQ and found out a tecnical bulletin had been issued. A new part - called a deflector plate was installed somewhere around the evaporator. Like magic - problem fixed.I guess the new plate enures that condensation is diverted towards the drain hose and not into the passenger side footwell.
Thanks
Wild Bill
