Possibly one of the stupidest movies I've seen in years. Obviously written by someone who has absolutely no knowledge about plane crashes, wilderness survival nor the inclination to do any research on the subject. The characters did so many stupids things that after a while you root for them to die because they so richly deserve to. And I'm going to reveal the ending here to save anyone else from having to sit through this turkey and then be left hanging. One by one they all die except for Neeson's character. He's out of the mountains and close to civilization when he has the final battle with the "alfa" wolf. So he gets himself ready to fight and then they roll the credits. Sheesh! I want two hours of my life back. So as a public service, if there are people out there who don't actually know this, if you're ever in a plane crash STAY WITH THE WRECKAGE! All airplanes large and small have locator beacons that trigger when they crash. Airliners follow known routes and have schedules. If they don't show up people will come looking and they'll know where to look. The last thing you want to do is try to walk out of mountainous terrain, in winter, with inadequate clothing, no food and no idea where you're going. Sit tight, stay warm, and use the wreckage as shelter because it's better then anything you'll find in the wilderness.
