That's a good one--they did things right and survived. Another good one is "The Edge" with Anthony Hopkins. They too would have been better off if they stayed put, but at least they had a rationalization (no one knew where they were and the plane was at the bottom of a lake). Actually, one of the best things you can do in that kind of situation is build the biggest, smokiest fire you can muster. Airplanes can see smoke from 30 miles away on a clear day and in wilderness areas will usually investigate. But I guess movies usually have little to do with reality and it's folly to expect it.
