I would recommend a few changes to your process.
After claying, I wouldn't bother to rewash the car. You'll be removing any residue with the additional steps you're planning anyway. Also, skip the paint cleaner - the claybar is going to remove all contaminants on your paint anyway, and do a better job. Instead, use a good polish after claying to correct minor scratches and paint marring. I've got better results with 3M polishes, but Meguiar's and Mother's also make good products. For more severe scratches and swirls, you'll need a more agressive applicator. If you're doing this by hand, you might not get the results you want. Even a relatively inexpensive buffer and bonnets will give you better results than by hand. You just need to be a bit careful.
*** Always use good microfiber towels when drying, removing polishes, glazes, sealants, and waxes. Even good terry towels can induce scratches when buffing ***
You can layer NXT over the #7 glaze. NXT has a very mild abrasive, and won't remove much of the glaze. I know a lot of folks use NXT as a LSP (last step product) over glazes. If you have the opportunity, after buffing off the NXT, let it cure for about 8 hours or overnight, and top it with a good pure carnauba wax - not a cleaner wax. I've layered Meg's #26 over NXT in this manner, and got terrific results. p21s is another excellent carnauba - can be found at harley dealers if not in local auto parts stores - and it won't stain black trim.
Sorry to be long winded; hope it turns out great for you.
