I was hoping I'd hear from you, Mike. I did sign up for the paint sealant and fabric protectant as well, it seems like a highly useful feature to me since I am not a religious car washer/waxer.
Unfortunately with the Lojack, my insurance company offers zero discount. Further, I don't live in or travel to major urban areas (except on rare occasions), and in fact, plan to move much farther away from then then I am now in the next year or two. Good to know that it can be cancelled though, that gives me more confidence to do what Saab good car suggests.
So what would be the preferred method of letting the dealer know that I absolutely under no conditions want Lojack installed? Personal visit, phone call, or letter? I need to go in and pick up my license plates and a couple other things, then have my appointment for the paint sealant on 10/4 (also when they think they are installing Lojack).
I did sign up for the extended warranty, but I am going to cancel that as well, since I have found out I can get much better coverage elsewhere for $400 less, or the same coverage for about $700 less (approximately half price). I haven't totally decided I want it at all though... but at least it can be addded at any time while the car is under manufacturer warranty.
