ABC and Jim Mackay were doing it. But that goes back a ways...
At least it isn't hockey all the time (personal bias against team sports).
But I also don't see why ice dancing is an Olympic event--it's for the couples who can't do pairs.
And if curling --which isn't a sport to begin with-- is on there, then shuffleboard, bowling, and bocce ball should be too. Maybe even snow shoveling.
The U.S. Ski team may not be living up to its own advertising, but at least snowboard cross is great to watch. A lot better than the other new one--ice racing pursuit. Yawn.
But the Olympic committee, which lets women do downhill, luge and skeleton sleds at 80 mph, says ski jumping is too dangerous for women. The 3 females in my house almost attacked the TV!
There. That felt good. =8^)
