As a Korean I'm quite proud of the two major tire companies from Korea: Hankook and Kumho. They have been around for many years not just making cheap tires but seriously investing in R&D as well, as seen in years of experience in racing. The attractive prices result from the efficient production line not from cheap quality. As for the quality control, I'm on the fourth set of the same Kumho tires (16 in total) and haven't had one disappointment. The best value in the market for quality for very competitive pricing. I still don't see why people complain about those companies' competitiveness in pricing. It's passed time to get over the doubt in their quality. Lots of people don't volunteer to write positive reviews on the net to waste their time. Of course it's just my opinion, a happy one at that.
