Contact consumer protection and the Better Business Bureau. You've documented your case, so it isn't just he sez/ she sez. I'd also e-mail George Gombossy to see if he's interested. And the willingness to go half will work in your favor.
Don't think of it as confrontation. Think of it as standing up for yourself in a firm though cordial way. Just keep repeating that your wheels were damaged at TFT, you have proof of that, you have consumer protection resources that you intend to use, and you want to be restored to your pre-TFT condition. You're not trying to enrich yourself.
My dear daughter is a quiet, sweet, petite, soft-spoken, always smiling blonde professional person. She looks a little like Reese Witherspoon imho. She can also turn into a shrieking terror when mistreated by bidness. Her BF, who is nfl linebacker size, brought her along for muscle when he bought his car. So you can do this. Good luck.
