Classic car insurance Posted by Clay McNeely [Email] (#497) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Clay McNeely) on Wed, 19 Aug 2009 11:31:22 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Alright, here's my situation:
I have a 1991 900 SPG in extremely good condition that I want to insure as a "collector" car...meaning that the car is currently being restored, will be driven solely for hobby/pleasure, and probably won't be driven more than 2,000 miles/year. If I were to get in a wreck today and total the car, insurance wouldn't pay out anything even remotely close to the "real" value of the car. Anybody have any experience with collector/classic car insurance carriers/providers? Any recommendations or horror stories? Feel free to contact me if additional information is needed. Thanks in advance, drive safely, and KEEP ON SAABING!!!
