Really? You really have all those problems from letting your car sit? Mine has sat every winter for the last 4 winters (Dec-April). Sometimes I start it about once a month, but that's about it. I have 100K on my 9-5 and have had far less problems then most (my in-laws just traded theirs in). In the spring I start it up, let it idle for a few minutes, check the fluids, tires, etc and head off.
4 winters, 0 problems.
(okay, my PS pump may be starting to leak, but I'd doubt it's related to sitting and the tech just said keep an eye on it).
People are amazed with the paint, underside, etc of my 9 year old car. I can assure you I would have more mechanical problems if I had driven it in the salt.
