I believe there are just too many conflicting "facts" to be able to cast judgment regarding one individual's opinions. GM says Saab lost money. Evidence shows that Saab made money and GM reported that profit elsewhere in order to avoid costly Swedish taxes. Media reports that there is no way Koenigsegg and/or Spyker could have succeeded in purchasing Saab since they only produce a handful of cars each year. Other arguments show that each company was the face to a much larger group with very deep pockets.
Child-like? Perhaps the original message wasn't exactly the absolute best approach, but this is an unusual and trying day for everyone in the Saab community. I don't believe anyone knows all of the facts. I don't believe anyone has heard all of the rumors. I do believe, however, that any statement made with an attitude of absolute knowledge should certainly be tempered with tact and understanding. Drive safely and KEEP ON SAABING!!!
