The Direct Injection 3.6 (LLT engine not the earlier LY7 engine without Direct Injection) delivers around 300hp, and is very fuel efficient. I do wonder if the move to discontinue 2.8T is paving way for introducing the 3.6L Direct Injection engine. It's recently introduced into the Buick Enclave (and GMC twin), the result is a humongous SUV delivering 17/24 gas mileage, on par with or better than the mid-sized SRX with 2.8T.
