I have no experience with the General's but the tread design is exact to a set of studded Nokian Hakkepelitas I had on my 9k way back when I lived in VT. Those tires were flat out amazing snow tires.

Just curious if a tire company is free to copy the exact tread design of another? I remember when that Hakka tread design came out they were all the rave up north as they were a completely new tread design.
