At this point, I'm a little more worried about short term availability of any Saab proprietary parts for my NG9-3 convertible than I am about what brand they are. I'm not nervous about my 9000, there will always be parts around for that. Your Vig should be OK as well.
Also, FWIW, many aftermarket parts are better quality than Saab parts. I was briefly a Saab part only snob, but that changed. I've had my 9000 for almost 10 years and the plenty of non-Saab branded parts are doing just fine. In the coming years, who knows where "Saab" parts will actually be made, but a Bosch/Febi/SKF/etc. part will always be pretty safe.
