waaay too much salt used around here...
yes, the pads on our c900s are semi-metallic, and they stick to the rotors if one is not careful. I store without handbrake and I'm trying giving the car a push every couple weeks (no battery in there) to avoid this... I never even thought about getting ceramic pads for the c900 but probably they exist... might not be a bad idea... it's true that many use ceramics on the newer models... Other issue I had was the caliper piston getting stuck in its travel and I'm not sure if that was due to corrosion of the caliper, or damage induced by backing the car out and driving it (briefly) with a damaged pad/rotor... I've had a bunch of stuck pistons on c900 calipers...
