Years ago I had left my then-aging 9000T for service at the local Saab dealer's. I got the car back, and on my way home stopped off to do an errand. When I returned to the car, which was parked next to a lot of other cars in a large strip mall parking lot about 2 minutes from the dealer, I noticed that someone had apparently stolen my fuel-filler outside door! As I recall on the 9000T, the fuel filler door locked when you locked the car - which I always was careful to do.
I immediately drove the car back to the dealer's and walked into the service manager's office. He came out to look at my car, shrugged his shoulders and said he's order me a new door and have it painted - gratis. Which is exactly what he did.
I'd be wary about taking my Saabs for service to anyone I absolutely didn't TRUST. It's nine-tenths of the customer relationship, at least IMHO.
